Review | Goldbug Chimp Harness and Backpack

His smile just goes to show how much he loves his new friend!

Toffie loves to explore and run. With this product it gives him the freedom to run around yet I still have control of him. It's very cute and soft and I love how it functions as a harness and a backpack. The tail is removable with a secure buckle and the backpack has a small insert in the back for your child to carry a small toy or even a snack in it.

The tail - Is like a safety net - it’s there if he needs it.

I think the Harness Buddy is definitely worth its price and I highly recommend it to any parent of a toddler or young child. Your child will definitely love it as a cuddly toy that they can carry. It has made our day outs enjoyable and fun.

Review | Oxo Tot 4 Piece Feeding Set

The one thing I am blessed with is unfussy eaters in the family! Toffie loves eating independently but though he's 19 months he hasn't quite grasped eating with a spoon or a fork. He prefers eating with his hands and makes a lot of mess and ends up spilling everything all over the table and floor!

The lovely people at Oxo Tot kindly sent us a 4 Piece Feeding Setwhich is suitable from 12 months, for Toffie to try. The set includes a sturdy green and white bowl with a lid, a matching plate with a removable lip, a colour co-ordinated spoon and fork and it's BPA, Phthalate and PVC free.

The Oxo 4 piece feeding set is nicely presented in a box with the colourful bright green feeding set clearly on display. The presentation of this set is a bonus, it can be gifted as a gift and looks very trendy. Toffie's smile just goes to show how happy he was receiving this - green is his favourite colour!

Tried & Tested

The bowl and plate have a non-slip weighted base, and remain safely on the table without sliding about, making feeding so much easier. This definitely has reduced the amount of mess Toffie makes as his plate doesn't roll around the table as he scoops in to take a spoonful. The cutlery set has a soft, non-slip gripped handle, much easier for Toffie to hold and control. The cutlery set is perfectly shaped for his tiny hands!

I am really happy with the design and quality of this feeding set. The set is of superb quality and I would highly recommend it to anyone with a young child. Overall we love Oxo Tot - I will definitely be purchasing more bits for Toffie to match his new set!

Disclaimer:  I was sent this product free of charge for the purpose of this review but all thoughts and opinions are completely my own.

Quote of the Week

I want my children to grow up appreciating life and the things around them. To appreciate the friends and family they share their lives with. Love and happiness cannot be bought -  you have to put in effort to make life enjoyable!

Legoland!

We committed to buying Merlin passes this year so that we could make the most of the family attractions in the UK with our children during the summer holidays and also be able to visit some of the places on our Family wish list.

This summer we decided to go to Legoland! The kids absolutely loved it! I think Umi is the perfect age to be able to sit on all the rides, whereas Toffie who is under 2 didn't really have much to do other than playing at Duplo Valley or in the pirate park. Its the perfect place for children 5-12 I think! I would definitely recommend it to any family considering to pay a visit but please be aware it is very expensive and if you travel during peak time you will have to queue roughly 45mins to an hour per ride! This can be very frustrating and difficult if you have impatient children! However you can jump the queue by purchasing Q-bot!

Adult tickets can cost you £46 roughly with a child ticket priced at £41. Children under 3 are free! Usually you can find 2 for 1 ticket offers online or on the back of cereal boxes - so do plan your trip and search for money saving coupons otherwise you'll have a very expensive day!

The best rides to queue for are: Pirate Falls, Viking River, Dragon Ride and Atlantis. The 4D cinema is also very good and one you should definitely not miss! Duplo Valley is an outdoor water play area for the kids - remember to pack the swimming bags!

NOTE
  • Lunch options aren't very cheap at Legoland so it might be a good idea to pack some sandwiches and have a little family picnic instead.
  • Parking charges - there is a fee to pay! Without this ticket you cannot exit the theme park. Parking is free for Premium Annual Pass holders
